Kiwanis Club of Windsor

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The KIWANIS Club of Windsor was chartered March 11,1992 largely in part due to the creation of the Town of Windsor. Like minded civic leaders, business professionals, teachers, politicians, law enforcement, and military, saw the need then and it continues today.

We are the unseen faces behind WINDSOR DAYS PARADE, EASTER EGG HUNT, CHRISTMAS (SANTA TIM) TOY/FOOD GIVE-A-WAY, FATHERS DAY BRUNCH, WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL KEY CLUB, WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS, KEY LEADER LEADERSHIP EMERSION TRAINING to name a few.

Our community partnerships only serve to enhance service to our community; Fire Department, Windsor High School, Cali Calmecac, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Oddfellows, Windsor Service Alliance, Windsor Presbyterian Food Panty & Clothes Closet, and the Town of Windsor, to demonstrate how valuable we feel partnerships are.

The Windsor KIWANIS Club continues to provide inspired, intuitive, creative, and passionate support of children at all phases of their lives from birth through college.

As you can see, we serve with passion, work tirelessly, and embrace new ideas for our children and communities.  We are currently meeting by Zoom on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday at 6:30 and the 3rd Wednesday at noon.  The 4th Wednesday we volunteer at the Redwood Empire Food Bank.  You are invited to join us by sending an email to info@windsorkiwanis.org

Windsor Odd Fellows

The Windsor Odd Fellows is the oldest fraternal organization in Windsor. It was instituted on February 12, 1873 in East Windsor, moved to West Windsor then back to various spots in East Windsor before the current structure was built in 1933.   Our lodge is on the top floor and Pohley’s Market occupies the bottom floor.

We are part of a larger, international organization that was formed almost 300 years ago in England.  The premise was to band together to help our fellow “man” regardless of class or creed which some saw as ‘peculiar’ or ‘odd’ as most persons relied on their trade guilds or associations of class for support in difficult times.  Thus, as a group of ‘odd’ fellows brothers and sisters, we strive to perform our duties to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphan as we work with others to build a better world.

As part of the Windsor community we are the organizing sponsor of the annual Windsor Day Festival which follows the Windsor Day Parade organized by our local Kiwanis group.  In addition, we support Odd Fellow member families with educational aid, Windsor High Students through annual scholarships, the Windsor Community Food and Toy Drive, Santa Tim, Girl Scout Leadership, Sonoma County Fire, Redwood Empire Food Bank, as well as other local organizations and persons.

Partnering with our other local organizations last year and this year for the Windsor Community Food and Toy Drive fulfills our desire to assist in creating a better world.  Happiest of Holidays to all.

Windsor Grocery Outlet

This year Windsor Grocery Outlet will be donating toys to make sure the children in our community have a great Christmas!

At Grocery Outlet, we love brands & savings. That’s why we work so hard every day to bring our customers the brands they love at prices that are nothing short of pure bliss. In fact, Grocery Outlet has been helping customers save big since 1946. How do we do it? With the help of our brilliant buyers who shop the world, travelling thousands of miles each year to find the most thrilling deals on brand name groceries. Whether it’s through packaging changes, surplus inventory or product overruns, our buyers source it all – everything from fresh meat and produce to our natural and organic NOSH items to the WOW deals we can hardly believe ourselves. And, of course, we wouldn’t be anywhere without the hundreds of local families that support our Windsor Grocery Outlet & shop us first! We deliver superior customer service personalized to each of our customers. So come in and see for yourself. It might seem like a dream, but we guarantee the savings couldn’t be more real.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide faith of over 16 million members centered on the belief that everyone on earth is a son or daughter of a loving God and that His Son, Jesus Christ, saved the world from sin and death. Jesus Christ invites all of God’s children to come unto, follow, and become more like Him.

The mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is to help all of God’s children come to Jesus Christ through learning about His gospel, making and keeping promises with God (covenants), and practicing Christlike love and service.

Members of the Church believe in helping individuals and families fulfill the commandments to love God and to love your neighbor. Members do so by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, caring for those in need, inviting all to receive the gospel, and uniting families through family history and temple work.

The Church has over 30,000 congregations in more than 160 countries and territories. Each of these congregations is a local group of Saints who serve, teach, inspire, and mentor each other as they strive to overcome personal challenges and hardships, and each is led by nonpaid leaders selected from the congregation who serve on a limited-time, volunteer basis.

Our local congregation meets each Sunday at 10:00 am in Healdsburg, we gladly welcome all to worship with us each week. Our building is located at 310 Powell Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
