We couldn’t do this without our wonderful sponsors. The basic requirement to be a Start-Up ponsor on this page is to have provided financial or in-kind gifts of $250 or more during the initial stages of various events, Freaky Fundraiser being the first. The Sponsors here have representatives who are in the Planning Group. Every donation helps, and these very special gifts give the planning team the peace of mind to know that we’re ready for whatever needs come our way.
Kiwanis Club of Windsor

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The KIWANIS Club of Windsor was chartered March 11,1992 largely in part due to the creation of the Town of Windsor. Like minded civic leaders, business professionals, teachers, politicians, law enforcement, and military, saw the need then and it continues today.
We are the unseen faces behind WINDSOR DAYS PARADE, EASTER EGG HUNT, CHRISTMAS (SANTA TIM) TOY/FOOD GIVE-A-WAY, FATHERS DAY BRUNCH, WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL KEY CLUB, WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS, KEY LEADER LEADERSHIP EMERSION TRAINING to name a few.
Our community partnerships only serve to enhance service to our community; Fire Department, Windsor High School, Cali Calmecac, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Oddfellows, Windsor Service Alliance, Windsor Presbyterian Food Panty & Clothes Closet, and the Town of Windsor, to demonstrate how valuable we feel partnerships are.
The Windsor KIWANIS Club continues to provide inspired, intuitive, creative, and passionate support of children at all phases of their lives from birth through college.
As you can see, we serve with passion, work tirelessly, and embrace new ideas for our children and communities. We are currently meeting by Zoom on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday at 6:30 and the 3rd Wednesday at noon. The 4th Wednesday we volunteer at the Redwood Empire Food Bank. You are invited to join us.

Lions Club of Windsor

Founded in 1975, the Windsor Lions Club is celebrating its 48th year of service to the local community. As part of Lions Clubs International with over 46,000 clubs worldwide, these volunteer organizations serve the needs of people all over the world.
One of the club’s first ideas was to have an event for children. Now in its 43rd year, the annual Halloween Costume Parade and Barbecue is an event recognized throughout the community, bringing joy to hundreds of children and their families.
In 1977, the Windsor Lions obtained a $94,000 federal grant to purchase land and construct the first park in this region, Keiser Park. Years later, the club donated $30,000 for the addition of a BMX track in the southwest corner of the park, used many years for recreation and races…

Windsor Odd Fellows

The Windsor Odd Fellows is the oldest fraternal organization in Windsor. It was instituted on February 12, 1873 in East Windsor, moved to West Windsor then back to various spots in East Windsor before the current structure was built in 1933. Our lodge is on the top floor and Pohley’s Market occupies the bottom floor.
We are part of a larger, international organization that was formed almost 300 years ago in England. The premise was to band together to help our fellow “man” regardless of class or creed which some saw as ‘peculiar’ or ‘odd’ as most persons relied on their trade guilds or associations of class for support in difficult times. Thus, as a group of ‘odd’ fellows brothers and sisters, we strive to perform our duties to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphan as we work with others to build a better world.
As part of the Windsor community we are the organizing sponsor of the annual Windsor Day Festival which follows the Windsor Day Parade organized by our local Kiwanis group. In addition, we support Odd Fellow member families with educational aid, Windsor High Students through annual scholarships, the Windsor Community Food and Toy Drive, Santa Tim, Girl Scout Leadership, Sonoma County Fire, Redwood Empire Food Bank, as well as other local organizations and persons.
Partnering with our other local organizations last year and this year for the Windsor Community Food and Toy Drive fulfills our desire to assist in creating a better world. Happiest of Holidays to all.

Waste Less Windsor

Waste Less Windsor is a non-profit coalition of representatives from Windsor organizations who hold events in Windsor, such as the Summer Nights on the Green. These include but are not limited to the Town of Windsor, Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce and SOMOS. WLW recruits volunteers who help event-goers, like at the concerts, to recycle in a manner where the amount of waste that ends up in the landfill – the gray disposal cans – is minimized.
In July, 2023, for the first time ever at the concerts, there were no single-use plastic cups given out! Only aluminum cups which are fully recyclable and reusable. Concert-goers got a discount when they brought back their metal cups to use again for refills, further reducing waste! So, use and keep your aluminum and classic WLW steel cups!
Historically, WLW volunteers are Windsor High School students from the Committee for Change, and a few folks from Windsor Rotary to help set up. WLW volunteers care about how recycling is done and want to contribute to getting it right through education! We usually can maintain about a 65-70% diversion rate, which means 70% of the stuff goes to recycling or compost, instead of landfill, without a lot of contamination. That’s really good!

Windsor Soroptimist

Soroptimist International of Windsor was chartered in 2005. Our mission is to improve the lives of women and girls, in our community and internationally. We accomplish our goals through locally based fund-raising and projects, and by supporting the global initiatives led by Soroptimist International.
Members of the Club are business and professional women, active or retired, who volunteer to support our mission. While we pursue goals that will help others, we also take time to enjoy the company of our sister members. Our Club members like to have fun! And we will always welcome new members to join us.
